Getting to Zero Governance Team

The Governance Team is the governing body of the Getting to Zero program. It comprises of leaders representing a range of community organizations within the County and is responsible for helping set the strategic direction of the initiative and oversee and track program activities and services. The governance team meetings take place once every other month on the fourth Thursday from 11am-12pm for one hour via Zoom.

The HIV and Aging Program committee aims to assess community needs, collaboratively plan our HIV and Aging program, and to provide overall guidance in program development and operations. The committee meets the first Wednesday of every month from 4pm-5pm via Microsoft Teams.

Perinatal Equity Working Group

The goal of the Perinatal Equity Working Group, established in March of 2022, is to convene health care partners from across the county to develop and implement actionable steps to improve birth equity.

PrEP and PEP Access Committee

This committee discusses academic detailing opportunities for service providers in Santa Clara County, specifically about the provision of pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). The PrEP and PEP Access Committee meets once a month. Meetings occur quarterly on the first Thursday of the month from 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM for one hour via Microsoft Teams.

Youth and Young Adult Advisory Board

The Getting to Zero Program’s Youth and Young Adult Advisory Board is a new collaborative that provides opportunities for Santa Clara County students ages 14 to 24 to be involved in Getting to Zero program planning and to gain professional experience and knowledge in topics related to STI and HIV prevention and education.
