Free resource fair breaks down barriers
Public Health promotes fair on a local news channel.
The quarterly resource fair at Story Road Hub Service Center is part of the County of Santa Clara Public Health Department’s ongoing commitment to providing equitable access to important health resources. The Center of Resiliency Team spoke with Telemundo about the resource fair ahead of the July 2024 event.
Olivia Núñez with Public Health told Telemundo 48 reporter, Fatima Navarrete: "It is very important to have this event in San José because we want to remove barriers our community faces. This event is free and will offer services that have been requested and are needed."

The July 19th event featured essential resources for adults and children from 25 participating organizations. This included COVID and Tdap vaccination, dental screenings, blood pressure screenings, and food boxes.
