The HIV and Aging program is no longer accepting new referrals as of April 1, 2025. This program is supported by a grant that is expected to sunset on June 30, 2025. To connect with a member of our team for information on options for receiving HIV treatment and care services, please connect with the Ryan White program.
In 2020, 52 percent of all people living with HIV were 50 years of age or older in Santa Clara County. This is expected to increase given the number of people who can live healthy and longer lives thanks to advances in biomedical sciences.
The Getting to Zero (GTZ) HIV and Aging Program was created to navigate people through the various resources and clinical services that are available to them to live their best life while going through natural aging.
While the HIV and Aging Program is sunsetting, we will continue to offer educational programing to both community members and health care providers to support local capacity building. We are offering workshops topics such as: Building and Maintaining Healthy Relationships, Sexual Health and Aging, Digital Literacy, and Clinical Management Related to the Conditions of Aging. The Getting to Zero Program is also offering comprehensive STI and HIV Prevention and Education Services. Please submit a request below by completing our service request form.
